This CELPIP Speaking 9+ course is engineered to move students from basic fluency to advanced oral proficiency. It is specifically designed for test-takers who currently hold a CLB 6 or 7 but require a CLB 9 or higher for Canadian immigration or professional certification. Over four weeks, you will master the strategic delivery and linguistic precision required to satisfy both the AI scoring algorithm and human raters.

The program includes:

  • Eight high-intensity lessons covering all eight speaking tasks.

  • Cognitive Complexity Pairing to build stamina for high-pressure prompts.

  • “Professional Anchoring” techniques to ensure objective, high-level reasoning.

  • Specific “Oral Blueprint” formulas to eliminate hesitation and “um/ah” fillers.

  • Timed recording protocols to master the strict 60 and 90-second speaking windows.

By the end of this course, you will be able to replace simple descriptions with the complex grammatical structures and precise vocabulary needed for a top-tier result.

How do I submit my speaking assignments for feedback?
You will record your responses directly into the MasterStudy LMS or upload an audio file (MP3/WAV). Your instructor will review the recording and provide a detailed assessment based on the official CELPIP performance standards.
Is this course live or pre-recorded?
It is a hybrid model. You get access to pre-recorded strategy videos and toolkits, plus live classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:00 pm PST for real-time coaching and group drills.
Can I join the course at any time?
Yes. The course uses a cyclical rotation. Because each lesson focuses on a distinct task with its own unique theme, you can jump in at any week and complete the full cycle without missing any core strategies.
Do I need special equipment for this course?
A basic computer headset with a microphone is recommended. This allows you to practice in the same environment as the actual test, ensuring your recording quality is clear for assessment.
How is the "Thinking Filter" applied to speaking?
In speaking, Thinking Filters help you instantly organize your logic during the short 30-second preparation time. They provide the "Professional Anchor" needed to speak for 60-90 seconds without running out of ideas or repeating yourself.

NOTICE: Live classes start Tuesday, May 12. Sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm PST.

  • New students may join at any time. This course follows a cyclical rotation, so you will not miss any core content.

  • All live lessons are recorded. If you miss a class, you can access the video in the lesson folder.
